In a landmark development for grassroots motorsports in India, JK Tyre has successfully fulfilled its commitment within the promised timeline as the registrations for the much-awaited JK Tyre Turbo Track Go-Karting Academy are now officially open for children and enthusiasts aged 8 years and above.
The announcement comes close on the heels of a public commitment made by Mr Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, who had assured during a public event that Delhi NCR would soon witness the launch of its first professionally managed go-karting academy within a month. Staying true to that promise, the academy is now ready to begin its journey towards nurturing the next generation of motorsport champions.
JK Tyre Turbo Track Academy aims to become a premier platform for identifying and grooming young racing talent under the guidance of renowned legends and experienced professionals from the motorsport fraternity. The academy will focus not only on racing techniques and driving skills but also on discipline, safety, fitness and professional motorsport exposure.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arvind Kumar, Founder of Turbo Track, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr Raghupati Singhania and Mr Anshuman Singhania for their unwavering support and encouragement in turning the late Mr. Sanjay Sharma Hardy’s dream into a reality. Mr. Arvind Kumar stated: “This academy is not just a motorsport initiative, but an emotional journey and a tribute to the vision and last dream of the late Mr Sanjay Sharma Hardy. We are deeply thankful to JK Tyre for believing in this vision and extending full support in creating a world-class grassroots motorsport platform in Delhi NCR.”
He further added that with the support and technical expertise of JK Tyre, the academy will operate with the highest safety standards and professional training protocols to ensure a safe and inspiring environment for young racers.
Appealing to schools, parents, and the youth of the country, Mr. Arvind Kumar urged young talent to come forward and register for the academy and said that “India has immense untapped motorsport talent. We appeal to schools, educational institutions, parents and young enthusiasts to support and encourage participation in motorsports and help make racing as aspirational and popular as cricket in our country.
The academy will also create opportunities for deserving candidates through Internal Racing Championships, Competitive Karting Events, Talent Recognition Programs, Sponsorship Recommendations, and Advanced Motorsport Exposure.
The initiative is expected to significantly strengthen India’s grassroots motorsport ecosystem by providing structured training and competitive opportunities to aspiring racers from an early age. Registrations for the academy are now officially open, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Indian motorsports.
