Apple features Galgotias University student apps
Four student-built apps drew an Apple showcase, and the university's Swift Student Challenge wins nearly doubled to 18. What Apple puts into the programme has not been disclosed.
From period tracking to autism screening
Apple has featured apps built by Galgotias University students on its education success-stories site, including Sakhi, a menstrual health and emergency assistance app, and AutiCare, an early autism screening tool for parents and caregivers. Two other projects cover augmented-reality toy retail and AI-based interview practice. The university's iOS Student Developer Program embeds Swift and Xcode in coursework; Galgotias said Apple Swift Student Challenge wins from the programme rose from 10 in 2025 to 18 in 2026. Apple has not disclosed what it invests in the programme.
