Gradiant to double Coimbatore engineering headcount to over 200
The water treatment company is expanding its Coimbatore engineering centre to more than 200 staff, taking on design work for international projects. Investment was not disclosed.
Water treatment company Gradiant is expanding its Global Engineering Center in Coimbatore, taking the engineering workforce from about 100 to more than 200 professionals. The expanded centre covers process, detailed design and project engineering, and will take greater ownership of design and engineering for Gradiant's international projects across semiconductors and advanced manufacturing. Chief Operating Officer Govind Alagappan said Coimbatore's engineering talent and industrial base made it an important location as the company scales globally. Gradiant did not disclose the investment behind the expansion or the timeline for the hiring.
