Green freight: two enterprise fleet-electrification deals land the same week

Two low-emission logistics tie-ups landed on the same day, a sign that enterprise shippers, FMCG firms in particular, are starting to move on freight emissions. Euler Motors said it will deploy its four-wheel electric cargo vehicles across fleet operator Green Drive Mobility’s mid- and last-mile operations, with about 50 units in and 500 planned this financial year across five metros. Separately, Essar’s GreenLine Mobility said it will run LNG-powered trucks for Dabur India’s logistics, though it disclosed neither a fleet size nor a target. Both are early-stage deployments rather than firm, large-scale commitments; the vehicle counts and emissions savings cited are the companies’ own.
