Hyundai Motor India Foundation announces the Grantees of ‘Art for Hope’ 2024

Fuelling the Artistic Dreams of individuals across India

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) announced 40 grantees of ‘Art for Hope’ 2024. HMIF’s flagship Art Revival initiative aims to increase access to arts by building platform for youth, women and local artist. In line with the global vision of ‘Progress for Humanity’, the 3rd edition of ‘Art for Hope’ had participation in Visual Art, Digital Arts, Performance Arts, Folk Traditional Arts & Community Arts. 

Congratulating the winners of ‘Art for Hope 2024’, Mr. Puneet Anand, AVP & Vertical Head - Corporate Affairs, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “It is wonderful to witness boundless creativity every year with ‘Art for hope’. At Hyundai, we firmly believe that art is a powerful force for progress and it is our responsibility to provide a platform where artists get celebrated. ‘Art for Hope’ is a program to bridge the gap between dreams and reality of these artists by uplifting them through the grant amount.” 

He added, “The 3rd year of ‘Art for Hope’ has seen even grander artistic endeavours and we are hopeful that the grantees will benefit from this opportunity just like our past grant recipients. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each grant winner and look forward to their creations created through the grant.” 

This year, ‘Art for Hope’ also introduced 10 grants for specially-abled artists under ‘Ability for Dignity’. Ability for Dignity is an addition to the ongoing grant program for arts. Additionally, the grantees will undergo a unique artist management and virtual upskilling training along with their caregiver. The vision of this initiative is to enable artists to utilize their talents and have a sustainable income opportunity that is inclusive and bias-free. 

The grantees were shortlisted by a jury panel which included Mr Aditya Arya, Founder – Trustee and Director, Museo Camera Center for Photographic Arts, Gurugram, Ms Kanchan Chander, Senior contemporary artist and printmaker, Ms Seema Kohli, Senior contemporary artist, sculptor and poet, Mr Kranti Sambhav, Editor, Overdrive and Mr Raghuwanshi Pratap Singh AVP & Vertical Head – Voice of Customer Group, National Service, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. They meticulously evaluated the participants and brought their extensive knowledge and expertise to the jury process od ‘Art for Hope’ 2024.
