Hyundai targets 1 million connected-car sales in India by 2027
Hyundai Motor India says it has over 0.8 million connected cars on the road, with the tech on about 20% of its sales, and is targeting one million by 2027 as software-led features go mainstream.
Hyundai Motor India said it has more than 0.8 million connected cars on Indian roads, with connected features now on about 20% of its sales, and is targeting one million cumulative connected-car sales by 2027 and two million by 2030. The push runs on its Bluelink platform, which offers over 70 remote, safety and convenience features plus voice control in five languages, and feeds the carmaker's software-defined-vehicle roadmap. It is a milestone-and-target announcement rather than a new product, but it marks how quickly connected, software-led features are becoming standard in mainstream Indian cars.
