Kia India, a leading mass-premium automaker, launched its first made-in-India electric vehicle, the Carens Clavis EV, starting at INR 17.99 lacs.

Transforming everyday driving, the Carens Clavis EV features innovative paddle shifters, a standout feature in the electric driving experience. Drivers can easily access four levels of regenerative braking using paddle shifters, tailoring energy recovery and deceleration to their preference, and driving conditions. The Carens Clavis EV features a bold and modern design inspired by Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy, combining futuristic aesthetics with practical functionality. Its standout elements include the Kia Digital Tiger Face, Star Map LED Connected DRLs with integrated turn signal, Ice cube MFR LED headlamps, Star Map LED connected tail lamps, 43.18cm (R17”) crystal-cut dual-tone aero alloy wheels, and 200mm ground clearance, all contributing to a futuristic and muscular presence.
Through the K-Charge platform on the MyKia app, owners have access to over 11,000 charging points nationwide; and live charger availability with route planning and streamlined payment options with the Kia EV Route Planner. Kia also offers dedicated support through more than 250 EV-ready workshops and 100+ dealerships equipped with DC fast chargers. The Carens Clavis EV comes in 04 variants - HTK Plus, HTX, ER HTX, and ER HTX Plus – offering a wide range for consumers. It is also available in 06 color options – Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, and Ivory Silver Matte.
