MG's 'The SELECT Art'

MG SELECT, the luxury brand channel of JSW MG Motor India, has introduced 'The SELECT Art' — a nationwide art initiative in collaboration with OffBeet Media Group. This project is mentored by contemporary visual artist Sidhant Gandhi, widely recognised by his creative alias, ‘toosid’.

MG SELECT and ‘toosid’ spotlight 14 artists from 13 cities across India to create a commissioned piece that explores themes of self-expression, innovation, and purpose—aligned with values at the core of the MG SELECT identity. From abstract canvases to conceptual installations with a cultural relevance, the works are intended to be deeply personal yet speak to something bigger: a generation in motion.

Siddhant, a Mumbai-based artist, brings a unique blend of surrealism and satire to the project. His work in illustration, digital media, and experimental formats is known for blending humour, cultural commentary, and a touch of the absurd, all grounded in sharp visual storytelling.

These art pieces will be unveiled in 14 Indian cities at MG SELECT experience centres, which will be unconventional automotive retails stores and engaging gallery spaces. These venues will host conversations and cultural interactions, bringing together India’s new wave of creativity and the advancing era of electric mobility, making you a part of this cultural movement.

All the artworks will be auctioned at the end of the campaign's first year. Some percentage of the proceeds will go towards community welfare projects supporting women and girls via MG Sewa, ensuring that the campaign leaves a mark within and beyond the walls of each store it encompasses.

The SELECT Art campaign also complements the arrival of MG’s latest electric offerings — the MG M9, the Presidential Limousine that redefines luxury in the electric vehicle segment, and the MG Cyberster, World’s Fastest MG built for a new generation of drivers, with its sleek design and high-performance capabilities. Both models represent the brand’s push towards innovation grounded in design, emotion, and responsible progress. MG SELECT reimagines what a retail experience can be — a space to explore products and a canvas for creativity, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
