Neuberg and NM Medical combine Maharashtra diagnostics operations

Neuberg Diagnostics says it has consolidated its Maharashtra operations with Mumbai-based NM Medical, combining its pathology and genomics services with NM Medical's radiology, cardiology and preventive wellness operations.

The Chennai-based Neuberg Diagnostics is  one of India’s leading diagnostic service providers, with a presence in India, the UAE, South Africa and the USA.  The company recently joined hands with NM Medical, which has a presence in Mumbai and other cities. It has decided to spread its healthcare services across cities in Maharashtra with the joint venture of Neuberg, which focuses  on diagnostics, preventive healthcare and specialised testing supported by clinical expertise, data science and technology.

The group processes more than 30 million tests annually and has a network of over 250 laboratories in India. On its part, NM Medical offers services including pathology, MRI, CT, Digital PET-CT, 3D Digital Mammography, Whole Body MRI, Cardiac CT, molecular genomics and genetic testing. Neuberg will help NM Medical to expand its operations in Maharashtra under the new identity, NM Medical, powered by Neuberg. 

The announced network includes Neuberg NM Medical and the group's other Maharashtra diagnostic brands. Nilesh Shah will chair the Maharashtra entity, while Rahil Shah will lead its integration and expansion as CEO for Maharashtra, preventive wellness and Africa operations.

The announcement does not disclose transaction consideration, ownership shares, current combined revenue or a quantified centre-expansion timetable.
