Škoda Auto India has unveiled an updated Slavia and confirmed the return of the Octavia RS and an all-new Superb TDI, continuing to invest in sedans as the Indian market shifts towards SUVs. The company said nearly 80,000 Slavias have been sold since launch. The updated car adds an eight-speed torque converter automatic with the 1.0 TSI, a Monte Carlo trim from launch, a 360-degree camera and a rear seat massage function, and retains its five-star Global NCAP rating. Prices have not been announced; pre-bookings are open at a INR 15,000 token.
