SMRSC 2026: Next-Gen MedTech
The 3rd edition of the global SSI Multi-Speciality Robotic Surgery Conference (SMRSC) 2026, hosted by SS Innovations International, is being held at Bharat Manadapam, Delhi, between 9-11 April 2026.
SMRSC brings global leaders, researchers, medical practitioners and innovators in healthcare to explore, discuss and share the new advancements in the industry of robotic-assisted surgery, telesurgery, surgical assets and artificial intelligence. The conference featured live telesurgeries, scientific sessions, immersive technology showcases and hands-on experiences, offering a comprehensive view of the rapidly evolving surgical landscape. Over the course of the three-day conference, a total of 15 live telesurgeries and 14 live surgeries will be performed using the Mantra-3 and MantrAsana systems, offering attendees a first-hand view of advanced robotic surgical capabilities in action.
SS Innovations International (SSII) is the global company wholly owned by Sudhir Srivastava Innovations Private Limited India, a medtech business pioneered by Dr Sudhir Srivastava. SSII develops innovative surgical robotic technologies with a vision to make the benefits of robotic surgery affordable and accessible to a larger segment of the global population. The Company’s product range includes its proprietary ‘SSII Mantra’ surgical robotic system and a comprehensive suite of ‘SSII Mudra’ surgical instruments, which support a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic cardiac surgery.
SMRSC 2026 was a platform for unveiling defining technologies for the next-gen mobile robotic-assisted surgeries. The conference showcased transformative surgical innovations, including Project Vimana, which deploys drone-enabled robotic systems for remote trauma care in combat zones via the SSI Mantra Surgeon Command Center. Project Operion introduced a mobile, overhead-integrated operating room with 360-degree access and telesurgery capabilities. Complementing these, SSI KAYA humanoids demonstrated AI-driven mobility for healthcare and hazardous environments, advancing precision, access, and adaptability in critical care delivery.
Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Founder, Chairman and CEO, SS Innovations International, said, “SMRSC 2026 reflects our commitment to advancing surgical innovation from India to the global stage and marks a key milestone in making world-class care more accessible. With technologies like Project Vimana and Project Operion, we are reimagining how and where surgery can be delivered—from battlefields and disaster zones to the most remote regions—signalling a fundamental shift in healthcare delivery.”
SMRSC 2026 was attended by distinguished leaders including Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Founder, Chairman and CEO, SS Innovations International; Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, Former Director, ISRO Satellite Centre; Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of AYUSH and Health & Family Welfare; and Sri Madhusudan Sai, spiritual leader.
