Sonalika posted best-ever July sales

Sonalika, the tractor brand of International Tractors and India's third-largest maker, said it posted its best-ever July with 11,442 tractors sold across domestic and export markets, on what it called an industry-leading 27.2% rise in domestic sales. The two figures measure different things: the 27.2% is domestic growth, while 11,442 is the overall total, and Sonalika did not disclose the domestic-export split or the overall year-on-year change, which on its own dispatch trend looks nearer 12%. The company also claimed the biggest domestic market-share gain for the month. These are wholesale dispatches to dealers.
