The new Audi Q3 returns with a fresh look and an expanded range of features
Audi brought together senior executives and celebrities for the India launch of its new Q3, with Neeraj Chopra, actor Sharvari Wagh and cricketer and commentator Ravi Shastri joining the unveiling. The company was represented by Martin Sander, member of the board of management for sales and marketing at AUDI AG, and Balbir Singh Dhillon, brand director of Audi India.
Launched on October 16 at an introductory ex-showroom price of INR 51.99 lakh, the Q3 is locally assembled at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Its 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine produces a stated 150kW and 320Nm, paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.

Dhillon positioned the model as part of Audi's effort to reach more Indian customers while strengthening the ownership experience. βIt's a car that carries forward the legacy, embraces the expectations of our new generation, and reflects our ambition for the future,β he said at the launch.
The technology package includes a 30.22cm digital instrument display and a 32.51cm central touchscreen. Both Nova and Zenith variants list a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control and power-adjustable front seats with driver-seat memory.
Several headline features are reserved for Zenith, including digital matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, the 12-speaker SONOS sound system and the nine-airbag configuration. Nova lists LED headlights plus and a 10-speaker Audi sound system.
Adaptive cruise control, front emergency brake assist and a driver attention and fatigue monitor are listed on both variants. The company claims 0β100km/h acceleration in 7.1 seconds under test conditions.
The new model combines the Q3's role as an entry point to Audi's SUV range with an updated cabin and equipment package. The supplied launch release does not provide a complete variant-wise price list, an introductory-price expiry date or a delivery timetable.
