Tesla's first collision centre in India, in Pune run by partner Modi Motors
Tesla has opened its first approved body shop in India, in Pune, and started Model Y test drives in the city, extending the after-sales network it has built since entering India in July 2025. The collision centre, run by partner Modi Motors, offers Tesla-standard repairs, genuine parts and software-aware diagnostics for owners in Maharashtra. Tesla sells directly and imports from Shanghai; it prices the Model Y Premium rear-wheel drive at INR 50.89 lakh and the six-seat Model Y L at INR 61.99 lakh. It had sold roughly 340 cars in India to April.
