Ultraviolette has introduced its VX-100 electric motorcycle platform and launched the X-47 Venom, with an introductory starting price of INR 2.65 lakh applicable to the first 5,000 customers.

Bookings opened on October 22, and the company says deliveries will begin in November 2026. The motorcycle is the first model on Ultraviolette's new 100V architecture, which it intends to use as a base for further products.

The X-47 Venom has a stated peak output of 30 kW, or 40 hp, and 550 Nm of torque measured at the wheel. Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 155 km/h and a 343 km IDC test-cycle range. That range is a certification-cycle figure and should not be read as an independently tested everyday riding distance.

The company lists a kerb weight of 180 kg, a 1.6 kW onboard charger and support for a 12 kW external DC charger. Equipment includes a seven-inch touchscreen, cruise control, front and rear dashcams and navigation using Mappls.

Ultraviolette says its rear radar system supports blind-spot monitoring, lane-change alerts, overtaking alerts and rear-collision warnings. These are the manufacturer's descriptions of rider-assistance functions; their real-world performance has not been tested by Bizmudra.

A European introduction is planned for November 3 at EICMA in Milan. The India booking announcement does not establish European availability or deliveries.
