Yokohama says 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T is now made at Visakhapatnam
Yokohama says two 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T sizes are now manufactured in Visakhapatnam, replacing imports, with 16–18-inch local production planned for 2027. The release does not disclose prices, output or a production-start date.
Following Bizmudra’s earlier report on Yokohama’s localisation strategy, the company says its 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T tyres are now manufactured in India instead of imported.
Yokohama India says its 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T with outline white lettering is now made at Visakhapatnam rather than imported and is available in two sizes. It plans locally produced 16-18-inch sizes in 2027. The company has not disclosed prices, the production-start date, variant output or the import volume replaced.
