Almondz reports Q2 profit growth as infrastructure orders expand

Almondz Global Securities Limited reported consolidated revenue of INR 40.09 crore for the September quarter of FY27, compared with INR 34 crore a year earlier, according to its results release. Consolidated profit, as described in the release, increased to INR 9.13 crore from INR 3.86 crore.

Its infrastructure consulting subsidiary, Almondz Global Infra-Consultant Limited, reported revenue of INR 31.35 crore, against INR 25.89 crore a year earlier, and profit of INR 2.90 crore, compared with INR 2.42 crore. The company said new orders in the first half reached INR 154 crore and the subsidiary's order book exceeded INR 400 crore at 30 September, with execution expected over approximately three years.

The financial services business reported revenue of INR 8.05 crore, compared with INR 7.84 crore, but segment profit fell to INR 2.51 crore from INR 3.01 crore. Almondz attributed the decline primarily to lower mark-to-market gains amid adverse capital market conditions.

Separately, Almondz said its ethanol joint venture, Premier Green Innovations Private Limited, was awaiting oil marketing company procurement allocation before full-scale commercial production and supply from its Odisha plant. The release targeted regular supply from the third week of November, subject to allocation. This remains a conditional expectation.
