DP World Cochin adds fortnightly service to Fujairah, Sohar and Aden

DP World Cochin says its terminal has begun receiving the MGR IFR service, connecting Cochin and Nhava Sheva with Fujairah, Sohar and Aden on a fortnightly rotation. The Marsa Virgo and Marsa Zenith each offer more than 500 TEUs per voyage; the inaugural call handled over 1,000 TEUs. DP World also reports August terminal throughput of 97,952 TEUs, up 51 per cent year on year. The company did not quantify transit-time savings or disclose commercial terms and committed cargo volumes.

Hindustan Zinc signs a six-year contract
