Force Motors ties up with Rosmerta for authorised vehicle scrappage
The arrangement gives Force Motors customers access to Rosmerta's registered scrapping facility in the NCR region, with documentation and material-recovery support.
Force Motors and Rosmerta Auto Recycling have announced a partnership to facilitate authorised scrappage of end-of-life vehicles for Force Motors customers.
The arrangement provides access to Rosmerta's registered vehicle scrapping facility in the National Capital Region. Rosmerta says it will assist eligible customers with documentation and Certificate of Deposit generation where applicable, followed by depollution, dismantling and recovery of materials including steel and aluminium.
“A vehicle goes through several stages during its operating life, and responsible disposal is an important part of that journey,” Force Motors managing director Prasan Firodia said in the supplied statement.
Rosmerta Group president Kartick V. Nagpal said the partnership was intended to make authorised scrapping infrastructure more accessible to vehicle owners.
The announcement does not disclose expected scrappage volumes, customer charges, collection coverage or a guaranteed replacement-vehicle discount. It is an access partnership involving an existing facility, rather than an announcement of a new recycling plant.
