Kauvery opens SAMATVA metabolic care centre in Chennai

The new centre at Kauvery Hospital's Radial Road facility brings several specialties into a coordinated obesity and metabolic care service.

Kauvery Hospital has launched SAMATVA, a centre for obesity, metabolic health and lifestyle care, at its Radial Road hospital in Chennai, according to a company release.

Tamilisai Soundararajan, former Governor of Telangana and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, inaugurated the centre. Kauvery said the service brings together physicians, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists and allied health professionals, with assessment and structured follow-up delivered through a coordinated care pathway.

Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, said the centre combines medical expertise and lifestyle interventions in a longer-term model of care.
