Mercedes-Benz launched the all-new V-Class, redefining the strongly evolving private luxury mobility space in India. Bizmudra attended the launch, and updates on the event can also be browsed here.
The New V-Class combines unparalleled space, luxurious comfort and avant-garde design, creating an atmosphere of luxury, space and freedom, unprecedented, providing a serene and composed environment to customers, in the lap of luxury and privacy, while on the move.
“We are delighted to introduce the all-new V-Class for the Indian market, redefining the concept of a ‘private suite’ offering luxury, space and privacy to our exclusive customers. The V-Class addresses a growing trend amongst India’s opulent customers and trend setters, who seek an oasis of personal space, tranquility and privacy, while travelling in the lap of luxury. The decision to start the local production of the V-Class further reinforces our India commitment, adding significant value to our customers”, said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

Available in the extra-long wheelbase configuration—measuring 5,370 mm in length, with a 3,430 mm wheelbase, 1,928 mm width and 1,880 mm height, the V-Class is engineered for customers who value authority, presence and uncompromised comfort. Its expansive proportions translate into superior cabin space, reinforcing its positioning as a vehicle for those who demand both mobility and refinement.

Responding to the growing demand for a 'personal luxury space', the V-Class establishes a distinct niche in the luxury mobility segment. It serves as an oasis of privacy, security and indulgent comfort for power elites, trendsetters and affluent Indian families who prioritise exclusivity. The vehicle redefines people-mover architecture by combining limousine-like sophistication with the flexibility of a premium MPV.
With the V-Class, Mercedes-Benz presents a ‘Private Suite’ concept—transforming every journey into a curated, deeply personal experience. The cabin is designed as a refined, spacious sanctuary on wheels, tailored to individual preferences. As more Indian families gravitate towards luxury private vehicles for family travel—often including pets—the V-Class addresses diverse lifestyle requirements. For such households, it is positioned as an additional vehicle dedicated to travel where privacy, comfort and freedom are paramount.

Mercedes-Benz India will commence local production of the V-Class, underscoring its three-decade commitment to the Indian market. The company also recently announced the start of local production of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. The V-Class becomes the second model confirmed for local production this year, reinforcing Mercedes-Benz’s long-term manufacturing and investment strategy in India.
