Black Box, the Essar-owned digital-infrastructure company, reported first-quarter revenue up 24% and EBITDA up 38%, with its order backlog at an all-time high of $949 million, up 83% year on year. It said it won a data-centre order from a new Tier-1 US hyperscaler and is executing gigawatt-scale projects, positioning itself in the global AI-infrastructure build-out across data centres, networking and connectivity, much of the opportunity concentrated in the US. The backlog surge is the standout, signalling a firmer footing after years of turnaround.
