As IP surveillance takes off

Aditya Infotech, the listed company behind the CP PLUS surveillance brand, reported an 89.5% jump in first-quarter revenue to INR 1,402.4 crore, with adjusted net profit more than tripling to INR 142.2 crore, as it rode a shift toward higher-margin internet-connected cameras and lower debt costs after last year’s IPO.

The scale of the growth is flattered by a low, pre-listing base and a 59% fall in finance costs after the August 2025 listing let it cut debt, but the operating gains are real: EBITDA rose 220% to INR 207.8 crore, the margin widened more than six points to 14.8%, and gross margin improved over eight points to 30.8%. The company said IP-based products now make up nearly 79% of the CP PLUS range, up from lower-margin analogue.

CP PLUS accounts for about 87% of revenue and, per Frost & Sullivan, held an estimated 43.3% share of India’s video-surveillance market in FY26. On capacity, Aditya Infotech said it makes about 2.5 million units a month, with a new housing-and-enclosure plant at Kadapa due to commission in the third quarter and eventually add 30 million units a year. It has also set up a cable joint venture with Orient Cables and made its mass-market NEXIVUE brand fully operational.

The results come weeks after CP PLUS launched its CarKam dashcams, though the company has said it has no plans to diversify beyond surveillance.
