Cybersecurity-focused global capability centres in India are taking on more global responsibility, according to Secure in India 2026, published by KPMG in India with the Data Security Council of India and released at DSCI's Cyber for Global Summit. The report says 51 percent of surveyed organisations have global cybersecurity teams reporting to India-based Cyber GCC leadership, 80 percent have representation on global cybersecurity committees, and more than a quarter now hold close to half their global cybersecurity workforce in India. Nearly half report attrition below 7 percent, and AI security ranks as the top priority skill area. The release states no sample size, so every percentage is quoted without a base.
