Hyderabad-based Pinit has launched an app-led saree shopping service that it says can bring a curated collection to a customer’s home within about 45 minutes, subject to location and slot availability.
Customers browse and select styles through the app before a Pinit vehicle delivers the collection with a stylist, mirror and lighting for an assisted in-home viewing and draping session. The company says its sarees are priced between INR 1,000 and INR 20,000 and that it fulfils orders through nearby location-based hubs using an electric-vehicle fleet.
