Apparel Group adds 2,000 sq m Carrefour store in Ghaziabad
The group says the ANSA City Centre outlet follows its Greater Noida West launch, extending the partnership's retail presence across the National Capital Region.
Apparel Group has announced the opening of a Carrefour store at ANSA City Centre in Ghaziabad, extending the partners' retail presence in the National Capital Region.
The group says the 2,000 sq m outlet follows its flagship at H&S Mall, Boulevard Walk, in Greater Noida West. The Ghaziabad store offers fresh produce, bakery items, groceries, household essentials and personal-care products, combining international brands with locally sourced merchandise.
Apparel Group describes the outlet as the second in its current India expansion with Carrefour. The partners say they intend to strengthen domestic supplier relationships and progressively expand into other markets, supported by local sourcing and logistics.
“Following the launch of our first flagship in Greater Noida, expanding into Ghaziabad enables us to bring our retail proposition to an even broader consumer base in the NCR,” Patrick Lasfargues, Carrefour's executive director for international partnership, said in the supplied statement.
The opening adds a physical outlet to the partners' expansion programme. The announcement does not disclose store investment, lease terms, staffing, sales targets or a timetable for the next locations. Plans for a wider omnichannel business are not evidence that a new online service has launched.
