Page Industries, the exclusive Indian licensee of Jockey and Speedo, reported a steady first quarter, with revenue up 7.9% to INR 1,420.4 crore on 5.7% volume growth to 61.2 million pieces. It held an EBITDA margin of 20.3% and posted net profit of INR 192.8 crore, a 13.6% margin. Management pointed to encouraging demand, new product lines for younger consumers, and a ramp-up of new plants. Solid rather than spectacular growth for the innerwear and athleisure maker.
