Hyundai Motor India has set a target of 20 percent women in its executive workforce by 2030, from more than 8 percent of a workforce of over 4,000 today. On the current headcount that implies roughly 800 women in executive roles against about 320 now. The company says about 45 percent of management and engineer trainees recruited in 2026 are women. The target covers the executive workforce only, so it excludes shop-floor and contract employees, and Hyundai did not give the total number of women it expects to add or a year-by-year path to 2030.
